Due for a break after this

So.

Got into a car accident on my way home, and the van is most likely totaled.

Coming down the Northbound frontage road of I-35, I had a green light at Yager, but glimpsed a silver car speed through on red, heading East. He cleared the intersection as I tried to slow down, but before I could do anything else, I could glimpse another white car following the silver one. I tried to turn, struck the front side of their car, did a 180, and came to stop against the median, with the back wheel hitting the curb hard enough to buckle partially under. The white car was pushed into the opposite side of Yager, and brushed against a navy pickup truck waiting at the red light.
No one had any major injuries that we could tell, but the passenger in the white car had some glass cuts, the driver (his wife) had a couple of bruises and decided to be transported with her husband.
I came out with a scrape on my left arm from the side airbag, broke my right thumbnail far into the quick, but otherwise fine. Dad caught the earliest train he could, and picked up his car from the train station just as they towed off the van and white car. One of the police officers offered to let me sit in his patrol car with the air conditioning, and then offered to drive me somewhere easier for dad to pick me up, so we headed to the nearest parking lot.
We headed up to Scott & White ER as a precautionary measure. For the first time ever, their ER was actually busy. The wreck was at roughly 1:50, Dad picked me up at around 3PM. We reached Scott & White at 3:20. I got wrist-banded really early, but wasn't seen by the doctor until roughly 5:30. I was declared well, with no need for x-rays. Finally got out at 6PM after washing up and dressing my scrape, got a tetanus shot, and got a prescription for a muscle relaxant and some pain killers.
Soreness is already settling in, arm burns a bit from the chemicals in the airbag, and I'm shaken, but fine.

Brandi is filling my short shift for tonight, since I was supposed to be there from 5-9. I'll try to tough it out tomorrow morning, but I asked her to call and reschedule any of my appointments that she could, especially Tango's, and try not to book me anything else for the weekend.

Thank goodness for who or whatever was looking over me and the others involved, and thank goodness for amazing Honda side + front airbags.
