for once, not an entry complaining of being sick!

I registered this morning for my classes for Spring semester.
Unfortunately, both possibilities for my Japanese class were wait listed. I was eligible to register at 9AM, and as of 8:50, one of the Japanese classes was still open. 9:01, it was wait listed. Needless to say, I was not thrilled. However, I added myself to the waiting lists for both possible Japanese classes (they're technically different sections of the same class, so the only difference is I might meet one hour later than expected on MWF), and I'm 2nd on both lists. So it's highly likely that I'll be added to one of the classes.
I do not know if I'm masochistic enough to keep the course on the Chinese writing system, as it will put me at 17 hours if I'm accepted to Japanese. We'll see. I really want to keep it, and the thought of taking three linguistic classes at once makes my heart flutter in a way that's a very nice break from the heart fluttering of "I feel like I'm about pass out."

Thus far, my schedule looks like so:
Linguistics 344K: Phonetics-Production and Perception of Speech Sounds
MWF 9:00-10:00AM

Astronomy 301: Introduction To Astronomy
MWF 1:00-2:00PM

Linguistics 350: Language and the Brain
TTH 9:30-11:00AM

Linguistics 350: Chinese Writing System
TTH 12:30-2:00PM

Ensemble 109C: Women's Chorus
TTH 3:30-5:00PM

WAIT LIST:
Japanese 412L: Second Year Japanese II
MWF 11:00-12:00 or 12:00-1:00
TTH 11:00-12:00
