4th of July and Max turns 1
Well, today is 4th of July. Another excuse for people to get drunk and set off fireworks. According to my mom it sounded like bombs went off because so many people were setting off fireworks around my house. 1) I hate fireworks. and 2) They are illegal to set off in Delaware unless in a professional way.
We had a cook out at my house today and all my mom, grandmother, and aunt did was argue. Anything from Michael Jackson to illegal "mexicans" working at McDonalds. My aunt seems to think that any hispanic person living in the US is illegal. She could see a hispanic woman give birth and she would say that child was illegal. My aunt is a racist towards anyone that isn't "white". It is rather annoying. Gatherings at my house always end in fights. I think its the only way my mother's family knows how to communicate. It can be fun because when I join in everyone stops. Haha!
Anyway, my fur baby Max turned 1 today. I'm kinda sad that he is officially an adult cat now. I know he will never act like one though. He is a typical male. Anywho, he got a "big boy" collar and a new toy for his birthday.
After the festivities at my house I went to my friend Mary's. There we drank vodka collins and played taboo with her bf and another girl we use to work with. Her bf also use to work with us. As usually Mary got drunk. She doesn't drink that much and she could drink very little and get drunk. Its rather hilarious. Taboo while drinking is something that has to be done more often! Lol
Now I am home and watching Law & Order: SVU with Hilary Duff and Gail O'Grady. Its very Casey Anthony. What ever happened with the Casey Anthony case? What was her sentence? If you know TELL ME!
