(no subject)
So, due to the New Music Festival going on over here at the wonderful WSU School of Music and Theater Arts, I can't go to CCF on ice. There are two concerts on Saturday that I'm required to make my wonderful presence at... So that sucks. On a lighter note, my dearest roommate is going home for the weekend, so I'm home alone! I'm sure it'll be nice for Saturday, but I'm also sure I'll be ready to have her back come Sunday. I'll get lonely and miss her. She really is a great roommate. I'll be sad when I have to leave.
Carrie is also a wonderful person! She and I went to a meeting for a company yesterday and she saved from spending $1500 (I'm rather gullible ;) ). The company sounds really cool! They work as like a major mega Costco/Entertainment/Car Dealer/Travel Agency/College Bookstore/practically anything else you can think of! They find the best deal of bigger ticket items for you wholesale (did you know the furniture industry marks their products up 100% of the wholesale price???). And their travel packages are out of this world!!! The only catch is that to become a member of this company (with their college promo plan) is $1500. Normally, the member price is $5000. Of course, most of the members of this company are people who have already invested $10-15,000 in a timeshare program. So 5 grand is a drop in the bucket! But not for me =) So yea, thanks, Carrie, for talking sense into me!
But, just for going??? I got 2 free nights at any Holiday Inn across the country and won a cruise to the BAHAMAS!!!! So Mom and I are treating ourselves to a cruise for our graduation presents =)
Now back to reality. Test today and I haven't studied much yet... so tschuss!
