Poetry Challenge

Last night at the Muddy Cup's Poetry Night, I read three poems. It went quite well. I ended with Tides, which I think may have left a few people a bit breathless. :-p

Anyway, Amy (who hosts the second round, the only part I got there for) announced a Poetry Challenge, and I decided to do it after I read (as I was third up I didn't have time before.) The Challenge was to take a personal ad from the Village Voice (she handed out strips of ads) and write an ad from the viewpoint of the person who would *answer* the original ad. Sort of a call and response. It did not need to be in poetry form. I took a few minutes and put something together. So, at the end she asked if everyone was done, and I said I would read my Poetry Challenge but only if no one present was under 18! She laughed and said she didn't think so, and anyway everyone there could handle it. Which told me right away that she wasn't ready for what I was about to read!

Without further ado, here is the original ad:

The Personal Ad

I want to take one more moment to remind everyone that I *read this out loud* to a room (partly) full of strangers. And I rocked it.

Thank you Deme for the title inspiration.

Single White She Male

I am looking for someone to lust after me
Join me to explore every fantasy
Exotic erotic feminine look
Male to female by the book
Grown up now that I'm thirty
I'm ready to get down and dirty
Bind me with leather and lace
Make me beg, then cum on my face
Older males make me delirious
Only replies that are serious
