Hmm. Don't know that I'd have lumped all the X-Men fandoms together. I always see the cartoons/movies for comics fandoms as their own deal since there tend to be some huge differences canon/characterization wise, but that's just me. lol
One day I will have to give Evo another try though.
The different versions can be really different, but I often draw inspiration from one version for use in another. It would have also made the post longer than I want to deal with, considering LJ has been giving me trouble with my posts lately.
I thought Evo was really fun and I may have to go play there again sometime. LOL.
i don't know that i'd consider the crossover/self-inserts as a fandom because the target audience is kind of limited and enclosed.
as for Marvel... i've got this annoying tendency to dive head first into... well, every corner of the universe. so the X-Men are just a small portion of what i do there.
It's a small audience, but it represents a big chunk of what I've been doing fic-wise. I play with characters there that I play with nowhere else. *shrug* Didn't want to leave them out and couldn't figure out a better way to categorize them.
I do love your enthusiasm for the Marvel universe. LOL.
Glad you enjoyed it. And no worries about the Anita Blake story, I sort of need to get caught up on it myself. I've got about half or two thirds of a chapter to type up -- then I need to figure out how to finish it. LOL.
Hmm...I guess if I had to pin it down, I'd think of the different versions as subfandoms under the bigger X-Men umbrella. But really, I didn't give it a lot of thought when I was answering the meme. Just trying to cover all my bases.

I tend not to separate out movie/comic/book/cartoon whatever either, but that may just be because they tend to all blur together in my mind.

I do enjoy the bits you share, so keep 'em coming and I'll try to get back in the groove myself. :)
