The Sweetest Sixteen...

Jan 20, 2009 19:33

All right ladies, you got me.  Nicked from assorted members of my FList:

(1) List 16 celebrities you would have sex with without even asking questions.
(2) Put them in order of how much you lust for them with #1 being the hottest.
(3) Say which movie/show/thing it was that hooked you.
(4) Supply photos.
(5) Tag five people! (I'm with Nan's rule on this one. If you want to do it, consider yourself tagged!)

Here we go:

#1 Michael Shanks:
OK.  I totally got hooked on Stargate SG1 and the character of Daniel Jackson who must be one of the most fanficced characters out there.  In fact, he has his own fanfic term, "Danny-whumping."  Look it up, I kid you not.  He's such an excellent actor that it's hard to remember that Daniel was actually played by someone else in the movie.  He manages to be funny, brilliantly intelligent, incredibly engaging, totally sexy, and somehow still project a charming sort of innocence as Daniel.  He's so popular that they've tried to kill him off a couple of times and they had to bring him back to appease his fangirls.

#2 Ben Affleck:
Hello Ben!  Loved him in the Kevin Smith movies.  Thought he looked hot in Daredevil.  Laughed my ass off over the "I'm Fucking Ben Affleck" video response to Sarah Silverman's "I'm Fucking Matt Damon."  What's not to love?  He's tall, dark and hot.  He's funny.  And hot.  He's in some of my favorite movies.  And he's hot.  Let me think...Hmm...Did I say he's hot?

#3 Seann William Scott:
You did say no questions asked, right?  I'd do him in a heart beat, then deny it later.  He's always grinning like he knows something you don't.  Just like a naughty little boy with a serious six pack.  I loved him in the American Pie movies as Stiffler and as the stoner in Dude, Where's My Car?  He's funny and he's hot.  Oh!  And he can dance that smart little ass off.  Yum!

#4 Allison Hannigan:
My #1 girl, as far as celebrities go.  Starring role in my ongoing hot tub fantasy.  Another American Pie alumn.  She's incredibly cute, with a deceptively earnest presentation and killer comedic timing.  She's not afraid to take chances with her roles.  I first fell for her as Willow in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  Smart, loyal, sweet, and powerful.  She only got hotter when her character went lesbian.  At least to me.  I so wished Willow was my best friend.

#5 David Boreanaz:
OK.  Now we're in Slayer-land, boys and girls.  Kindly keep your wrists and necks covered until we reach the end of the tunnel.  I don't know how many hours of BTVS and it's spinoff, Angel, I watched.  But every moment that Boreanaz graced the screen was definitely worth it.  He plays the angsty lost soul so well, his face was made for heartfelt brooding.  And the rest of the package is pretty damned appealing.  Tall dark and undead.  I never had a chance, folks.

#6 Seth Green:
OK.  I'll bet you're saying the same thing hubby said.  "Seth Green!?!"  I first felt the call of the wild when I came across him as the werewolf Oz on BTVS.  He was funny in Idle Hands and was wonderfully ironic as the ineptly evil Scott Evil in the Austin Powers movies.  He seems to be involved in a lot of projects off screen these days, but if you see the name Seth Green somewhere in the credits, chances are you'll get a laugh or two.  Sensing a theme here?  Hmm...

# 7 Rachael Ray:
Yes.  Rachael Ray.  Of the Food Network.  30 Minute meals.  40 Dollars A Day.  No.  I'm serious.  She just fries my bacon, folks.  I love her smile and her hoarse little laugh.  She always seems to be having fun.  And she can cook!  She's definitely my #2 girl.  Part sicilian, part cajun, she's all yummy in my book.

#8 Adrian Paul:
Umm...I loved the Highlander TV series.  Adrian Paul as Duncan hits the same buttons for me as Sean Connery would.  But he's so much younger and he's swinging a sword.  I also enjoyed him in Love Potion #9, as the maker of horribly cheap cars who falls under Sandra Bullock's sway.  He looks as good in a tux as he does a kilt.  I don't give a damn if the accents are authentic, as long as he'll do them for me!

#9 Hugh Jackman:
OK.  I'll admit it.  He wasn't even on my radar before the XMen movies.  And I haven't actually seen him in anything else.  But the more I see of him here and there, the more I like want him.  He's here at number nine, basically because I'm just a bit more into men in general than I am into women.  Though our next "Sweet" would be welcome to try to change my mind.

#10 Lucy Lawless:
You had me at "Warrior Princess."  She was the stuff of fantasy as Xena.  Strong, determined, intense.  She wore the armor and made it look damned good.  I loved the relationship her character had with Gabrielle.  She's so hot, she still looks good as a blonde in the Sci-Fi Networks Battlestar Galactica, where she plays Number Three of the Cylons.

#11 James Marsters:
Mmm...More vampy goodness courtesy of BTVS.  I love his character, Spike.  Even as a soulless vampire he was devoted, with the heart of a frustrated poet. I don't care if the accent is fake, it was good enough for me.  I've also been enjoying his wonderfully expressive voice as Harry Dresden in my audiobook versions of the Dresden Files (without the fake accent).  I've read the books for myself, and his interpretation adds to the personality of my favorite wizard.  I have greater respect for him now as an actor and not just eye candy.

#12 Taylor Kitsch:
Just look at him.  Would you turn that down?  When I heard that he was pegged to play Gambit in the upcoming movie, I did a little research.  I rented The Covenant to see Kitsch in action.  He looks incredible in a speedo and his acting isn't bad.  If he can pull off the Cajun accent, this "sweet" piece may find himself in my top three.  Hell, he gets brownie points and a spot on my list just for looking the part.  'Nuff said.

#13 Alan Rickman:
Call it a sneak attack.  He's been in a number of movies I've enjoyed, wearing different hats.  The wonderful silky voice and the smug confidence that often crosses the line into true arrogance when the role demands it.  Dogma, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Galaxy Quest and of course the strangely fascinating Severus Snape of Harry Potter fame.  I think the clincher was seeing him dance in a Youtube video.  Sigh...

#14 Lucy Liu:
I love her exotic looks and I was charmed by her in the Charlie's Angels Movies.  Her somewhat feline features manage to express everything from charming naivte to fierce determination and many things in between.  She looks equally hot in leather as she does in business suits.  Not to mention blue...

#15 Bruce Campbell:
Hey!  Who let him in here?  Oh yeah.  That was me.  Shh!  Don't tell anyone.  Army of Darkness is a masterpiece of B movie nonsense and was where I first remember seeing him.  Didn't he make a strapping young hero with his chainsaw and his "boomstick?"  I also got a big kick out of seeing him as Autolycus, The King of Thieves in the Xena/Hercules series.  He's aging now, graying and getting rounder here and there.  But I'd still have to check out his boomstick given half the chance.

#16 Daisy Fuentes:
She made a very easy on the eyes straight man on America's Funniest Home Videos.  Honestly, I can't even remember what her cohost looked like.  She plays the straight man with such good comedic timing that you know she isn't as dumb as she's pretending to be.  I also got a hell of a thrill to see her in Rachael Ray's "Inside Dish."  The two of them together had a certain chemistry that had me glued to the TV.  Though don't ask me to remember what they were cooking.  Or talking about.  But whatever it was, they it had me drooling...

OK.  That was really tough.  There were lots of folks that almost made it.  I really wanted someone from the Star Trek franchise, but when I went looking for pics, most weren't aging well.  Among the also-rans:  Robert Beltran who played Commander Chakotay, Jonathan Frakes who played Will Riker, and Adam Pierson who played Methos on the Highlander.

Hey look! I even put them in "I want to do them" order. Of course if you asked me on another day, the order might be very different. Hope you enjoy the viewing of my Sweet Sixteen as much as I did!
