Beyond Death: The At Home Version

My dear old PC has perished an untimely death.  And while I might possibly be able to have it raised fromt the dead, I hardly think it worth the expense considering how pitiful the specs are even compared to an out of the box e-machine.  I was, however, able to get in once in safe mode and rescue my fics and some pics.  Thank the gods I did that first, because my pitiful attempts at repairing either killed it, or it was gasping its last anyway.

I shall now have to throw myself on the tender mercies of some salesperson.  *shudder*
