One day I will learn to do things the easy way...I hope.
Today, I finished converting my ridiculously long Word file for "Witness" into chapter files. Which, apparently, are a bit long in and of themselves.
I then went through the tedious process of uploading them all to Mediaminer...
All 38 of 'em, complete with chapter summaries and all that jazz. Then I realize I missed a little rule in the submission policy...They want anything with graphic sex marked as "hentai" as well as rated for adults. Ergh...So I fix that on the three stories I uploaded.
Then I look again and see at least a half dozen chapters of "Witness" are bigger than the file size limit. So I scratch my head, ask my hubby if a "Rich Text File" would be smaller than a regular Word file....Stupid question, I know. Should be logical. Should have done that in the first place. Duh!
So, I go back and fix that one by one... It's now 12:09 AM....I'm tired and my neck hurts and I wonder why I do these things to myself...
On a brighter note...I love the XMen Fan Fiction Movieverse site....Beautiful...User friendly...Wish they did more fandoms, I would so post there. I've uploaded "Burning Brightly" there too. I should be posting chapter 11 sometime tomorrow. I just have to do final edits.
Oh...And I got a new review for "What Starfire said over breakfast one morning..." Silver Fox actually wants me to write more of that nuttiness. Not sure I can top that last chapter's insanity. I'll probably have to write something really dark first...there's a cycle to these things. I get too mushy then I have to go dark...I get too dark then I have to go funny....and so on.
