Cinco de Mayo, lala lala lala

May 05, 2006 18:46

I keep feeling like I'm spelling "Cinco de Mayo" wrong, but I'm not, because Yahoo says it's right, but still. :P

Hi! How are you?

I figured I'd do an update of sorts, seeing as I'm just sitting here, celebrating Cinco de Mayo and slowly getting intoxicated. (I've discovered I love the taste of Jack Daniels; does anyone else find that worrisome?) Anyway. Yes. Am slightly sloshed right now, and all I can say is, thank god for spell check. *hugs spell check*

Am still working at Kamco (boo), still on third shift (double boo), but on the plus side, our bi-annual shift realignment is coming up, and I'll find out Monday whether or not I have enough seniority to move to first shift. If I do (oh dear god, please!), I'll be moving to first shift at the end of May! Which means a normal schedule again! Huzzah!

Tim and I are fabulous, as ever. In fact, he is sitting on the back porch right now with one of his friends and drinking. I should probably go check on him soon. :| I wouldn't put it past him to get the wild, drunken notion in his head that clothing is no longer required, even though it's not even 7pm yet, and I don't think my little old lady neighbour could handle naked!Tim. Hell, I can barely handle!naked Tim. .... Ahem. *titter*

So really, nothing of note or interest has happened in the past few months. Ho hum.

As for you, lovely flist, I read all of your entries, even though I'm a lazy commenter. I've been trying though lately, because I miss feeling connected with you all. And Jess, Linds and S, I know you're all going through some not-so-great stuff right now, and I'm so terrible when it comes to giving sympathy or saying the right thing. But I do adore you three so much, and if there's anything I can do, whatever little it may be, please don't hesitate to ask.

Oh yeah! And I totally have, err... one! of those list of drabbles finished that I made you all give me a month ago. Actually, I had a bunch of great ideas for all of them, but work likes to eat my personal time, and so does Tim, and of course, I am ridiculously lazy. I have a second one almost finished though, and I think I may post those two soon.

Rooney, did you ever finish your Harry/Neville? Or your Springtime Seduction challenge piece? Because I so want to read them.

Hee, my ears are ringing. And this entry is so random. *headdesk* I'm so glad you guys like me, because I really am a giant t00b. ♥

p.s. my icon is love.
