Holidays at the French House
I had a great time at home with Bob. It was nice just to hang out with his family again. They are actually coming out here in about a week. His parents got me lots of big gifts. The best one being tickets to see Coldplay in February in LA!
The funniest part is when Bob's grandpa came over for lunch. We asked him if he would officiate our wedding and I think he almost started to cry (he is a Methodist minister). He started asking us all sorts of questions about the ceremony that we haven't thought of. The best part is when he told us that it would make him happy for us to go to premarriage consuling. As long as he doesn't want to do it I think it will be ok. Then he started asking us how many kids we were going to have and what we do if we can't have children. It got a little awkward. This would be a perfectly normal conversation in my family. But Bob's family is stoic and they don't about things like this.
The rest of the days we just did nothing. It was really nice. I've been feeling very very overwhelmed lately and I think it helped a little.
