I came across a fashion shoot in a magazine that looked almost steampunk wild-west. I used some of the pages as reference, though I kind of went with a "modern-wild-west" theme rather tham Steampunk, hence the leopard print corset.
I've been messing about with the brown paper too, though at this stage the drawings are only experimental and nothing major. Click the fake cut to see.
Tree was unveiled yesterday at the Natural History Museum. Upon first seeing the pictures we thought it was painted on. The reality is so much cooler.
I'm also working on some Black and White illustrations for SCBWI's magazine Bulletin, but I have no idea what issue they will be in yet.
