Another busy week!
Today was one of those days where I have a lot to do but nothing gets done... It took me waaaay longer than it should've to get through my Philosophy homework just because I was too unmotivated to really work on it. I was seriously just staring blankly at the reading for like 15 minutes, just totally dazed out and not actually reading any of it. Then when I finally finished the reading and wrote the essay (we do these once a week so they're not really HARD, just annoying. You read a long thing, then write a 1 page essay with a quote you understood and why and a quote you didn't understood and why. Easy.) I went to send it to my other computer to print it and I was having issues. -_- Of course. See, our desktop computer is the one that's attached to our printer so it just makes sense to print things from the desktop, it's just easier. But that computer is also super old and discolored and I'm convinced that it's going to explode with the next thing that gets saved on there so...I do all my work on my laptop. Then I copy and paste whatever I did into an e-mail and send it to myself. (I do this to avoid having to download and save on my old computer.) Then I go on the old computer, open up the e-mail, copy and paste it into Word and print it~ Yes, it's a process. But anyway, for some reason when I was trying to print it today, it wasn't copying right into Word. >:[ I had to re-type my heading in the Word document, and copy each part of the essay separately. Annoyinggg. D:< I'm actually not even fully done with my homework because I have some fill in the blank questions to do for Intro to Computing. It's so easy that it makes me so LAZY!! I have to do it by the end of the night, though, 'cause it's due tomorrow... I hope I'm motivated and ready for work tomorrow when I go to my classes. -_-
My English teacher continues to be a douche. His grading is waaaay too hard. :/ I got a C on my second essay. A C!! I don't think I ever got a C on an English essay in my life, I'm not even exaggerating. I'm really good with essays, and I'm really good with English... The fact that I'm not getting the grades I'm used to in this class shows that its my teacher's problem and not mine. :/ I prepared even harder for this essay, too! I wrote a draft and sent it to him before hand that way I could change all of the things he didn't like about my essay. It's ridiculous, it's literally impossible to get an A on an essay in his class. This is exactly what Larissa warned me about with this teacher... >_>; My average is sucking in this class and it's getting me worried already even though the semester just started. :/ I have a 3.9 GPA I do NOT want an ENGLISH class, a subject that I'm normally awesome in, fucking up my GPA!!! I'm just gonna keep trying hard... That's all I could do, I guess. Hopefully I could get a B on my next essay like I did on the first. I do really good on the quizzes and I know the teacher actually loves me, so that's not an issue. He says he gives a grade for effort and he's CONSTANTLY praising me for all the effort I do. I do the exercises online that don't even count to our grade, I always raise my hand in class to participate and I'm a suck up so he always talks to me and tries joking around with me... >_>; Again, gonna keep it up and see what happens. I need to learn how to not stress over things before they happen.
And here's the mind fuck... I officially have an A average in Math. A subject that I'm 1.) horrible at and 2.) have a bad teacher in. Got a 98% on my first test, and a 100 on a quiz we took on Monday. :D Gonna have another test on Wednesday. I'm proud of myself for doing so well... Math has been known to always give me issues... I had problems with it my whole life. So to have a perfect A average right in the beginning? I am pleased. \o/ Even if I start sucking, it'll take a lot to fail since my average is so high. Awesome.
