Firewoooooooorks!
Happy late 4th of July everyone!! I hope all of you had a good one! Even if you didn't do anything too exciting on Sunday, I hope you got to see fireworks and such. :DD And if you're not American or you just hate fireworks I hope you had an enjoyable day. :]
I had soooo much fun on the 4th of July!! ♥ I want to Kevin C.'s 4th of July party which is one of the best things ever because he's rich he has an awesome house. :D First of all, tampons? They're made of magic. MAGIC. I think I might like them more than pads. Idek. I was able to swim just fine with one in and I didn't have to worry about anything! You don't even feel the tampon in, so it feels the same as swimming without your period. It's just amazing. I still need to work on getting them OUT of me, though... It's not very fun practicing giving birth when I'm trying to remove a tampon. But enough about that... This wasn't meant to be a paragraph of TMI.
Anyway, I had loads of fun swimming in his pool. He has this huge built in pool with a deep end and a shallow end so it's fun to swim and play with! He also has a diving board that I jumped off from once. :D (Jumped off like a total girl, though. xD) There were lots of toys in the pool to play with too. :3 I'm basically a child because I'd have one and be all "EEE YAY YAY YAY" and then I'd see a new toy so I'd drop the one I'd have to be all "O_O Toy. Toy~!" and I'd grab the new one.
There was sooooo much food at the party, too. And that makes me happy 'cause lots of food = pleased Gina. I had a some nummy hero sandwich, chicken, and baked zitti. :3 OMNOMNOMNOM. Then for dessert I had really tasty brownies and cookies and a cupcake! *__* If there's delicious food at a party then it's a good party! xD; There really was lots of stuff, though. I totally could've kept eating like a real fatass but I contained myself. :')
As far as friends go, there weren't that many of us. :P It was just Cara and I, and a girl who I haven't seen since I graduated high school named Katie. Tbh when Cara told me that she was picking Katie up too I thought it was gonna be awkward. I haven't seen her in forever, we haven't kept in touch, and the only time I ever really talked to her was my first semester gym class in 12th grade. I'm just an awkward person to begin with so...I get nervous about putting myself into what could be awkward situations. But it wasn't awkward at all!! I actually talked to her a lot and it was fun. I forgot that she was super friendly and nice and that counter attacks my awk. :D We had fun!! We also ended up meeting one of Kevin's friends from college and he was nice too. :] Kevin L. didn't come to the party because he had work and was too tired. Andddd he was having allergies. I missed him because I haven't seen him in forever but at least the party was fun. :DD
Kevin's family shot fireworks and we got to watch them up on his roof like we did last year. :D Lots of fun! I get nervous about climbing ONTO the roof because I'm extremely spastic and I was convinced I was gonna roll off and die or something, but once I was up there I was fine. The fireworks were so pretty! And there were so many!! :DDD I really love fireworks so much so I'm glad I got to see them with my friends. :3
I stayed at the party super late. We were just chillin' and playing some weird vollyball game that was made too intense by little kids. o.o Cara and I left at around 1:15ish and went back to her house where I spent the night. :] We proved once again that we could just sit around and do nothing for hours. :') It's wonderful. The next day when we woke up I tried fake chicken!! She's a vegetarian, so she eats this fake chicken that's a patty made of like...a fungus which sounds disgusting but it was actually soooo delicious. xD It looked, smelled and TASTED exactly like a chicken patty! I was so shocked!! I really thought that it would probably be good but have SOME type of different taste but no! That was cool. :DD If I didn't like so many other meat products I would probably become a vegetarian and survive on those chicken patties. :P
Some bad news, though. I'm sick!! :( I don't know what the problem is!! I have a TERRIBLE sore throat, my voice keeps giving out, I feel weak and hot and dizzy anddd I keep coughing. ;_; My throat was scratchy when I went to Kevin's party but it didn't HURT or anything so it was fine... Then when I woke up at Cara's my throat hurt but really not that bad and tbh it just felt like I was thirsty. But then when I got home it started hurting worse and worse and today I just feel like CRAP. D: I ate hot ramen and drank tea but nothing really helped. :( At least I stayed home and rested today, though... That's good. I hope this just turns into a cold because a cold is better than any other sickness. I guess I can't REALLY complain since I haven't been sick in a really long time but ugh, it still sucks. :( And it's that type of sore throat that just hurts during EVERYTHING not just when you swallow or when you eat/drink. Not fun at all. It hurts so bad that it makes me gag occasionally when I drink. Dx UGH! Send me good energy, please, and hope for a get well soon! :(
