Obituary
Esther H. Rosas, 81, passed away at her daughter’s home in Hutchinson on Friday, March 23, 2007.
She was born on July 11, 1925 in Del Rio, Texas, the daughter of Guillermo and Josepha Leyva Hernandez. She was employed by Lamunyon Cleaning and Restoration, Hutchinson, for sixteen years. She moved to Hutchinson in 1959. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
On November 18, 1949 she married Antonio F. Rosas at Mabton, WA. He passed away on December 24, 1973. She is survived by four daughters, Grace Bowman, Arlene Lamunyon and her husband Mike, Dorothy Naomi Rosas, all of Hutchinson and Dianne Ellen Cochran and her husband Craig, Lawrence, KS; six sons, Antonio H. and his wife Elizabeth, Isaiah H. and Gabriel E. and his wife Michelle, all of Wichita, KS, Nathan E., Ezra and his wife Rebekah and Timothy and his wife Tracy, all of Hutchinson, KS; fourteen grandchildren, Ramah, Havilah, Benaiah, Acacia, Jonathan, Jessica, Jordan, Gina, Matthew, Sherylyn, Clarissa, Spencer, Ian and Eiana; three great-grandchildren, Cedric, Kianna and Jadiah and a sister, Hortencia Garcia, Los Angeles, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant children, a grandson, Micah, a great-grandson, Jeshuah, a brother, Jose Lupe and a sister Delores.
Services will be held at 2:00 Pm on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the Kansas State Fair Grounds with L. D. Dellinger, Arlington, TX. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be private in Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson. Memorials may be given to Kingdom Hall, Jehovah’s Witnesses in care of the funeral home.
