ha... i wondered. my mom was big on rosé but recently she has discovered something called "white merlot"! i was unimpressed but hey if it makes my mom happy... :-)

She usually prefers G&Ts - I've been making them for her since I was 8! Ice in glass, measure one jig, fill with tonic, squish in some lime and stir with a butter knife! She would always test-taste it, make crazy faces that it was WAY too strong and then smile and say "Just right!". "Would always" meaning, to this day. She sticks with her A-material and seriously cracks me up.
