So I just glanced at my journal and realized that I used the same subject heading for the past two entries. That is simply unacceptable. I think they call that a Live Journal foul.
Had an interview for a job in the business office today. It went very well. Basically they just described the responsibilities of the job, and everything sounds just like what I did at the law firm. So I told them what kind of experience I have, etc etc. They told me they just have to finish up their interviews in the next day or so, and they'll let me know. (One minus about the job- I'd have to work over spring break).
In the meantime, another opportunity has come my way. Shelby Academy has an opening (thanks for the info Julie Poolie!). I'd get to work with kids again, which is stressful, but much more stimulating. If any of you have heard me talk about working in an office, I think you know where I'd rather be employed.
I want to just go on a random road trip. I read about this guy once who basically just went from place to place, staying with friends and friends-of-friends and near-perfect-strangers; sometimes camping out or sleeping in his car. He did this for a year and saw the entire country, from Hawaii to Maine. I'm not suggesting becoming a nomad, just saying it would be fun to jump in the car and see someplace I've never seen, do something I've never done, and make memories that I'll never forget.
Camping on Friday! I'm beyond excited. We'll freeze if we have to, but it will be worth it. I know it will. Love you guys!
I'm praying for you. I love you and I'm always here for you; to talk, to listen, to make you laugh, or to just be quiet.
