Season 4, Episode 4
Eagles and Angels
So far the worst episode this season. After last season, I wasn't sure that this season could hold my interest through another one, but the first episodes pulled me in and caused that spark of "How's Michael going to pull this off" to spark again. Then there was this episode, which was boring.
In this one, Michael and gang continue to look for the disks that will allow them to crack the code of Scylla. This time the wife of a diplomat has it and she happens to be attending an Eagles and Angels event that night in guess where, Los Angeles. (Eagles and Angels is a police organization honoring fallen officers - the eagles; angels are the families who are left behind.) The boys dress up as police officers and attend the event. Lincoln gets made and is captured by one of The Company's goons. Belick saves him by killing the goon. I guess they had to find something for him to do this episode. Ultimately, they get the data from the card.
Sarah learns that Bruce was murdered and goes to a bar to fall off the wagon but through the caring of the wise bartender talks of her pain and decides against it. Random bar guy steals Bruce's credit card out of Sarah's bag and uses it to pay his tab, because although the bartender is good in psychology, she's not good at checking ids. Big scary bounty hunter guy (BSBHG) finds Sarah as she's leaving the bar. Guess they're going to kill her again.
TBag shows up in LA, is welcomed by Michael and company, but gets away from them. He's trying to figure out Whistler's clues in the Bird Book, follows them to a sales company where he is greeted with open arms - he is there best salesperson, afterall, just no one has ever met the man.
Source for the FBI guy turns up dead - killed by BSBHG
Gretchen is being held alive (much to BSBHG's dismay) until she talks.
This episode was too quick in the places that should have been slowed down and too drawn out in the places that could have been handled with more detail. Overall, not a great episode. Hopefully next week will be better.
