Friends Feed Question

On another note - how do I get my friends feed to look like it used to, instead of a paler and even blander imitation of Facebook?

It seems I need only type /friends to get the old page back. Phew!

That didn't work for me - it keeps redirecting to /feed. Is it because I'm on an iPad?

I think so. I read somewhere that they reconfigured the feed so that it could be read on the Kindle and other portable devices. So perhaps this fix only works on the computers?

LJ will maybe eventually learn that if we want something that looks like vkontakte, we'll go there- they have an English language version these days, after all!

They'll never learn. They never do. Not LJ. Not any of these platforms that keep fiddling with something that's perfectly fine.
