I'm guessing AT&T is your mobile provider? Apparently AT&T removes all the spaces in LJ's cookies, which causes them to break and send you into an endless login loop. I ran into this problem myself at Gally, and could only read/post to LJ when on wifi.
In fact, yes, my provider IS AT&T. Thanks for the info.
Starting to feel better today. I got a double-whammy of a head cold AND intestinal virus. Stephanie Bloomberg got it too. We've been commiserating together over on FB...
We are plowing our way through the 200s on Netflix right now (the early Barnabus episodes). I saw the movie with Depp when it came out last year, so I put it on my streaming Netflix queue but only just got to it.
I like the pacing, the slow storytelling with buildup and no grotesque violence or special effects. It's part of the joy of watching older tv and we are reminded very much of watching old Doctor Who.
T-Rex is itching to buy the DVD box set. It's quite expensive, but not unreasonable considering just how many DVDs are included. Plus, the packaging is very cool!
I loved the original Dark Shadows! Oh, the innocence of a time when a girl could get kidnapped, be held in a tomb all summer, and then get out alive!!! Did not see the new series or the movie, but should. And I believe there is a Dark Shadows con every year?

I need to find where I can get the rest of the series after Victoria Winters slips into the time when they explain how Barnabas became a vampire.
The 1990s/1980s TV mini series was pretty decent and had better costuming.

I saw the movie. It was fun, and was the impetus behind me putting the original series on my Netflix queue.
There IS a con every year. We looked at the website but dunno if/when we'll get to it.
