Doctor's office

As most know, I have been diagnosed with cervical cancer, some say precancerous, some say cancer. It is really all the same; it is cells that have grown abnormally and/or changed abnormally... in layman’s terms here it is... you know the little spots you get on your skin that the doctor takes off... well I have one on my cervix again. It is stage I, and today I learned it is the slowest growing type. After over 2 hours, how many of you all get two hours with a doctor!!!, we, my personal Ginny team (okay, my doctor and I), have decided to go with Cryotherapy (they will take the little cancer thing off my cervix by freezing it). They are not sure if this will work, but it has the least impact on my future and is worth a try. Most of you know that I did not want the surgery they were offering, hysterectomy, but I went in today thinking that is what was going to have to happen. The cryotherapy is a long shot and the last 2 doctors did not even consider the offer, because of my previous history, the shape my cervix is in, etc. I will keep you informed of any changes.
