January
I have come to think that the struggle in Iraq is about much more than oil, homeland security, politics, or money. I think the insurgents have articulated it more accurately than the Bush administration or its critics, American and otherwise.
February
Well it never rains but it pours. After nearly two months of sitting on his ass and watching his store go to shit the local Domino's manager finally hired me.
March
A lot of stuff has been going on lately, some of it personal enough not to merit discussion, but plenty of it is the sort of thing that normally goes into a livejournal when the author is diligent.
April
My morning routine of covering my body in vasoline seems to be paying off.
May
Someone told a joke at work this morning and the pizza dude snorted chai latte out his nose in front of twenty-some people.
June
I’m back down to one job, 20-30 hours a week at Dominos. I’m glad.
August
My hiatus from Livejournal continues, as does the deterioration of my writing ability. (Is “hiatus from” proper usage?)
Semptember
Taking a brief brake from reading to let the dust settle in my head. I started this book yesterday morning and I have to finish it by Tuesday.
October
Got drunk today from a lousy double whiskey. That shows how exhausted I am.
November
I read Martin Luther King last weekend. Americans have such short memories.
