The thing I enjoy about threesome fics is seeing exactly how the author figures out the little details of getting everyone satisfied without it being prosaic and expected. This fic is definitely a lovely read, lots of great little moments and i love the last paragraph ^_^

I really did try to be conscientious about it being not just about the sex, and not about it being necessarily about one character over another, but rather it an emphasis on all three of them. I tried to keep their interactions relatively even, and what little plot it had about there not being one pairing that it centered around.

And I definitely always don't want to be prosaic or expected, no matter what I'm writing.

Well i definitely think you succeeded on all counts ^_^ I think the restraints element really helped keep it interesting, not so much in and of themselves but more in comparing Danny's reaction to Mac's reaction to be tricked :) Very subtle but also very telling :)

I didn't necessarily try to do that, actually... but I'm glad it occured. :-) I just went with how they reacted in my head. Mac's sorta got this secret desire to have the control taken away, but wouldn't ever be able to articulate it or want to. Danny was annoyed cause he wanted to be able to play with a tied up Mac all he wanted. Given free reign, I suspect if Danny had Mac to himself all tied up, he would be quite the tease. And as you can see, Stella's fond of the idea of tying up both of them. ;-)
