Comment and I'll give you a letter. Then you have to list 10 things you love that begin with that letter. After, post this in your journal, and give out some letters of your own. Let me know if you want a letter.
My letter from
stellaluna_ was D.
1.) Da: How could I not love my baby??? Even if she wakes me up at 4am purring in my face or yells at me for whatever reason or curls up on my lap on the couch. I swear it's like having a 2 year old with four legs. Today? We came home to a broken ceramic pot off the mantle. Mom was not pleased at all. For the uneducated,
this is Da. (Her real name is Ellie, short for Elanor, the Shelby GT from "Gone in 60 Seconds")
2.) Discussions: I love discussing all sorts of things-- not necessarily debating, but discussing with an open mind. I spend a lot of time being annoyed by people who apparently can't handle this concept well. I really love when people comment to something I've posted and there ends up being this awesome discussion of some branch of something semi-related to the topic at hand.
3.) Danny Messer: Charming and dynamic, despite his volatility. If you've only seen a picture of him, you'd probably not think much about him (unless he's got his shirt off, then the view's nice) but it takes just a few minutes of watching him to be hooked. He means well, and is bright and does his job well, and Mac took a chance at hiring him because of his family and past, but he's proven to be quite worthy (despite a few incidents). He can be very moody, and often has a very up and down relationship with Mac onscreen-- which leads one to speculate what's going on offscreen.
4.) Don Flack: Loyal, skilled and proud NYPD Detective (and son of a NYPD cop). Projects machismo and is basically all bluster, but has his friend's backs when it comes down to it. Grumbles about having to work with the 'nerd squad', but often shows extreme loyalty to them and is often put in a hard place, having to be an intermediary between the CSIs and the PD officers and Detectives. Seems to be very good friends with Danny, which leads to fandom speculation about other aspects. Flirts a lot with Stella, and treated her well and with dignity after the whole Frankie incident. The kind of guy you'd want around both for aesthetics and because he's genuinely a good guy.
5.) Danny Tripp: Even though the show's just started and is barely hanging on, I'm hooked. Calming other half to the neurotic Matt Albie, he's not afraid to trade barbs with Jordan and defend his opinion. Hopelessly co-dependent on Matt for success in the professional realm (and to an extent, the personal) it can be said that for the most part he is the more stable one. Any scene with the two of them, especially where Danny's trying to convince or unconvince Matt of something, or that it's perfectly obvious that they're quite possibly more than a little close. ;-)
6.) Doriyaki: Japanese pancake sandwich-y sweet things. Actually I LOVE most Japanese food, but that starts with J, not D.
7.) Someone who shall remain nameless for privacy but has a last name that starts with D. They know who they are, and I sure hope they know why they're on this list. (If I elaborated, the privacy factor might disappear.)
8.) Drag Racing: The Summit 6 series is the best! Team Pacific Raceways, Team Smyth Racing, Bad Judgement Racing, Brat Pack Racing... The pros aren't so bad too, but they don't have nothin' on the Summit 6!
9.) Dave Matthews Band: I daresay they're ONE of my favorite bands, but I don't limit myself to just them. Although, conisdering the scope and breadth of their music, it's not completely limiting. Before These Crowded Streets is definitely their best release, IMO.
10.) Dark colors: Navy/Dark blue, Black, dark grey. More often than not, you will find at LEAST one of these on me-- from shoes to jeans to whatever.
