Oh. Wow.

You can really feel the anger pouring off Danny in this, as well as Mac's indignation to this.

And much kudos to you for being able to use the word 'love' in a fanfic and not make it sound forced. I like the Danny litrally spits the word out (which, lets face it, is the only these two are ever going to say it).

They do lend themselves to volitlity pretty easily, and any argument would not usually last long, but still be wild in its short duration. Danny does not think before he says things a lot, and this surely would piss Mac off on more than one occasion. However, he would be rather tolerant of his rantings to a point-- then things would fall apart.

Thanks. stellaluna_ questioned the use of it so early in the story at first when she was working on it, but I really wanted it to be a no internal edit button statment in the middle of madness that he didn't even consider before it flew out of his mouth. And he'd just carry on and ignore that he even said it, hoping that Mac wouldn't point it out. It may be the truth expressed in anger, but it is the truth and expressed in the only realistic form that they would express it in ( ... )

I love how raw they both are, how much they can hurt each other and themselves even when they're basically trying to get across how much they care about the other. It hurts in a good way.

It's a viscious cycle, really. They're angry cause they're upset, they're upset because they love each other (even if they don't admit it or don't understand it) and their confusion and conflict over that upsets them and makes them more angry. Their lack of ability to convey any of the issues just compounds the whole situation so that when the breaking point hits, they both go spiraling out of control-- even though the fact remains unchanged that they really *do* care.

Like the icon. ^_^ They really are halves of the other, even when they fuck it up royally.

And why am I pissed off? Because I fucking love you, you stupid asshole.

I love that line. ^^

Once again, you've done an amazing job writing Mac/Danny. *two thumbs up*

He's very angry about it all, and upset about Mac's recklessness. They're not the type to admit such things, but Danny lacks an edit button when angry and could say such things without intending. They wouldn't say it otherwise.
