POWER!!!!!!
We just NOW got our power back! Oh happy day! People are outside cheering. I was sitting by a night light and it flicked on and then off again, and then finally on.
It only took 6 days.... And now? Another storm headed our way. Although not supposed to be as bad. PLEASE PLEASE let us have power. Please. I was about ready to cry in frustration today, but when I came home I FINALLY saw a electrical truck here and was encouraged now that someone finally showed up.
And now? Power! Cable! Alarm clock! Water for a shower! Washing machine!!!!!!!
Thank you to all of you who have offered couch space and/or a place to warm up. The thought is much appreciated. I just couldn't leave Mom and the cats behind. And now that the power's back, I'll get to the comments tomorrow... Hopefully. And the cards.
