Yes, I have oodles of free time right now and am a lil worried so I researched biotch! The following are just facts and quotes that I found that I thought were interesting.....
Clove cigarettes are imported from Indonesia and were first brought to California by Australian surfers. (great...so I WAS our fault! >_<)
In the United States, clove cigarettes have been associated with artists and the goth, punk, and indie subcultures. (hmmmm....what about "thrash"?)
Kreteks produce more tar, nicotine, and carbon monoxide than ordinary cigarettes. The active ingredient in clove cigarettes is something called eugenol, on which little research has been done. (Its used in dentistry...and Eugenol numbs the throat and may cuz you to swallow down the wrong tube--fuck.)
The burned eugenol, or some byproducts created when other additives are burned, may immobilize infection-fighting cells, allowing viruses and bacteria already in the lungs to spread. It is also possible that the eugenol or other ingredients have a toxic effect or can trigger an acute reaction. (Im getting more info on this one..)
Claims that kreteks contain fiberglass are an urban legend. (buuuuut, they may use fiberglass in their filters...Im not sure.)
"For a while i smoked them because the idea of a solid black cigarette was awsome." (woww...what a dumbass.)
"I took some cloves out of the kitchen spice rack and smoked them in a pipe, was better than Djarum black." (hahahhahaa....)
"Lately ive stopped cause my girlfriend found out." (damnnnn straight.)
YEAH! 60% Tobacco and 40% cloves, contains eugenol (C10H12O2) higher levels of tar, carbon dioxide, ect.
this may be continued at a later date.
(I am psycho because I LOVE you man.)
If anyone would like to add anything, feel free.
