Where the crap did that come from?

So I was looking for some clips of some speeches about violent video games for a video I'm planning on doing for class, and happened upon this quote in the beginning of a speech by Hillary Clinton.

"We do not need any more members of congress who act like extras in the movie I Robot."

I'm really not sure what to say about this...It's just a rather odd choice of words.
Anyway here's some nice quotes I found as I hunted for some speeches on the web.

"If your mental image of a game is that of a toy and you're presented with 'Grand Theft Auto,' it's understandable that you'd be shocked," he said. "It's as if you expected TV to be 'Sesame Street,' and you're shown 'Sex and the City.' But that would be absurd.

"Likewise, no one in the movie industry expects children to watch 'The Godfather' or 'Kill Bill.' It's the same with 'GTA.' It was never created for children."

"One study reveals that young men who are habitually aggressive may be especially vulnerable to the aggression-enhancing effects of repeated exposure to violent games,"

"The other study reveals that even a brief exposure to violent video games can temporarily increase aggressive behavior in all types of participants." (I wonder if they've ever done similar studies with sports fans)

"The APA recommendations included:

• Teach media literacy to children so they will have the ability to critically evaluate interactive media.

• Encourage the entertainment industry to link violent behaviors with negative social consequences.

• Develop and disseminate a rating system that accurately reflects the content of the video games and interactive media. "

Do people not know the ESRB exists or is it just me? That said I completely agree with the 1st of those 3 points.
