I'm not very familiar with the tags feature, but I recently posted a tutorial for a banner made in GIMP, and there don't seem to be any suitable tags for my post. Any chance you could add a 'banner/header' tutorial tag? :D

I'm a busy person, and I don't have time to make all these snazzy tutorials with screengrabs of every step of the process -- but I have made a "Digital Art Notes" page here. Would linking my technique notes there be disallowed by this community because they aren't snazzy tutorials?

where's the best place to go if you're just starting on GIMP and can't really understand all this fancy talk about 'brushes' and 'burns'? haha. :)

Hey!

I was thinking, someone could do a tutorial on blending, like one picture next to the other and blending them together.
