Who: Haruhi and Kyon
What: Molesting Kyonko, and other stuff.
Where: Kyon's room on the SS Haruhi II
Why? Because Haruhi needs her Kyon.
Warnings: I suppose molesting Kyonko counts as one?
Kyon laid on her bed, staring up at the ceiling as she took a sigh of relief. She had evaded that idiot for the time being, having lied about her current location on the ship. Her plan was simple-- evade Haruhi for the rest of the week and then dispose of the rest of the bananas before she knew what was what. Between the unicorns, her sudden girlish figure, and Haruhi herself being on the ship, Kyon was starting to find herself losing more sleep than she originally thought.
Still, she sighed. It was over for now, so she could just lay there and contemplate what to do next.
"Ha!" Haruhi burst into the room. "Thought you could trick your Brigade Chief!?" she asked, looking furious.
She immediately fell backwards off of the bed, hiding on the other side of it away from her. "What do you mean trick you?! I said I was 'probably' near the kitchen, I didn't say I was actually there!" She was lying again, but she had to save face somehow.
"No, you said 'most definately'." she replied in a huff. Her expression quickly faded into mild annoyance, before a sudden change into excitement as she pounced upon the other girl. "Oh Kyon, you shouldn't have hidden away like that~ There's so much fun to be had~" she said as she began molesting her.
"Wah--!" She tried to squirm away as usual, away from Haruhi's busy hands as she swatted at them. "Haruhi--! Let go of..."
"No way, this is too awesome~ Besides, it's not every day I have you as a girl like me~" she replied, also squirming about to keep Kyon's squirming from letting her escape.
Under other circumstances he would've actually enjoyed it-- insane or not, Haruhi was still a girl. But given the fact that she had been turned the same way, she couldn't do anything else but fight it. She growled out, "That makes this worse! We're both girls, you shouldn't be-- get off!"
"No way, it's a lot easier to do this now than when you're a guy!" she replied, still not stopping her fun with Kyon.
She almost wondered what the hell she meant by that-- was it the breasts or the skin that made it easier on her? Either way, it wouldn't stop her from continuing her resistance against the other girl. "I don't care how easy it is... I just want you off of me!"
"But why?" she pouted, she stopped for a moment so that Kyon could note her expression, however still holding the other girl tight. "This is a lot of fun~" she added as she started up again.
She took a moment to think about it before Haruhi DID restart, thinking that she shouldn't have given her time to respond if she wasn't going to allow her to. Sighing, she just kept quiet and thrashed about, trying to keep the other girl's hands off of her.
"Oh Kyon~ I've missed you so much the past few days you were hiding~" she said, actually starting to slip one of her hands under Kyon's shirt.
"H-Hey! Get your hand out of there!" She wrapped her fingers around Haruhi's wrist, trying to get her hand back from under her shirt.
Her hand was successfully pulled out and Haruhi started groping with it on top of the shirt again. "I mean, come on! What would I do without you around!? I love you so mu-" ... the groping stopped. "-ch." Silence. "... I didn't just say that out loud, did I?"
Dead silence. She just let that sentence hang in the air for a moment, not responding. Suddenly, out of her mouth came, "I'm a girl. And I'm straight."
"So!? You're not normally a girl! And..." Haruhi got an extremely pained look on her face as she finally seperated herself from Kyon completely and turned to look the other way holding her hands against her head. "Ugh, I'm so stupid! Why did I have to say that!?" if someone were to see Haruhi's face right now, they would clearly notice it to be a bright red.
Kyon wasn't looking at her face, her own tinged with pink as she glared down at the floor of her room. "...I'm not trying to go near anyone as a girl. You're way too close, and..." She couldn't bring herself to finish that sentence. She gave a sigh, adjusting her suddenly contorted clothes and remaining quiet.
"... I'm sorry." Haruhi said in a tone that was strangely quiet for her. "I shouldn't have... and Mikuru wasn't here... and I thought you'd probably look cute. And you do." she was still looking in the other direction.
She tried to register all of this. Haruhi was apologizing and was even complimenting her. Not to mention the last sentence... what was she-- he supposed to say about that? Was this something that he was supposed to shrug off, or accept, or was he supposed to tell her-- this was all incredibly confusing and sudden for her... so she could at least respond half-way.
"...thanks."
"I..." Haruhi hesitated... "I can't believe I said all thaaaat!!" she returned to one of her normal speech tones.
"Said all of what?" Kyon said, trying to play innocent. "I don't think I heard you correctly."
"I know you heard me..." she grumbled. "There's no need to pretend it didn't happen. I don't need you of all people humouring me..."
She tried at least. "Look, we're really busy and stressed out right now. You're trying to adjust to being a captain and I'm... a girl, having to take note of all of the sudden unicorns on the ship. Maybe you should get some sleep."
"Hmm..." Haruhi didn't have a reply for that. At least, not until a moment later. "... Hey! Are you saying that there's something wrong with being a girl!?" she pushed her grumpy face right up in Kyon's.
She jolted back. "I'm not used to it at all--! My personality isn't suited towards being female..."
"How can you have a personality not suited to being female anyway!? Haven't you ever heard of tomboys?" she asked, folding her arms in a huff.
"...liking girls, being interested in male things, not wanting to dress effeminately... either I'm supposed to be a lesbian or a male." She sighed, looking down at her body.
"I say you make just as good a girl as you do a boy." she replied.
"...thank you for the compliment I think." She shrugged.
"I don't see why it should make any difference whether you're a boy or a girl or even a unicorn anyway. You'd still be you. And that's all that really matters, isn't it?" she sighed briefly before returning to her normal bossy tone. "Of course, I don't want you jumping on the bandwagon just 'cause everyone else is being a unicorn, you got that!?"
She held up her hands, eyes closed as she glared at the floor again. "I'm not going to eat any dessert until this unicorn craze is over." She said reassuringly. "You should be the one being told that anyway!"
"What do you mean I should be the one being told that!?" she huffed. "Unicorns might be interesting, but I doubt it'd be any fun actually being one."
An exasperated look came across her face for a moment. "That's what I was hoping for."
Haruhi sighed. "... Anyway, since I was stupid enough to blurt it out earlier, I guess I should just come out and say it. I love you. Okay?" she said, although the tone was completely different from how most normal people would say it. It was more like she was telling Kyon what to put on a shopping list.
Well, at least she got it out there. He didn't know how to respond or what else to do, so she just did the only thing that she knew how to do. "At least you let me know." After all, how many guys would've loved to hear those words come out of her mouth towards them?
She turned a bright red and felt incredibly stupid. "I... is that all you have to say?" she asked, looking strangely vulnerable.
"...this is all really sudden. I would have prepared a speech if I had known in advance, but as it turned out..."
"Well, I wasn't actually planning to..." she stopped. "Back when we first met. I opened up to you so easily... You reminded me of someone I met a few years ago, I'm not exactly sure why..."
Immediately, she froze. She knew exactly what she was talking about, and instead just bit her tongue on that fact and muttered. "...really..."
"Yeah, he called himself John Smith..." she looked away. "I don't even know why I'm bringing this up. You reminded me of him at first, but now... You're just you. You're Kyon..."
She rubbed the back of her neck. Yeah, Kyon and John Smith. And a nameless female, it seemed. Maybe he needed to think up a name for his female self... but that wasn't the point here. "I don't really feel like anyone else. Well, normally at least."
"Good. 'cause I like you best when you're you." she replied looking back at him.
"Thanks." She said again... just really trying to absorb everything that she was feeding him.
Haruhi just became silent again, she couldn't think of anything to say, but she couldn't just wander off either.
She didn't know either. Should she leave? Maybe tell a joke? There could be an anecdote for such an occasion... but in the end, she just decided to remain quiet herself, not looking in any particular direction.
"... Well, uh..." Haruhi gulped nervously, it was odd for her but she wasn't used to this. "I uh, suppose I should get back to doing... captain stuff... now..."
"Yeah... yeah, maybe you should... I'll stay here and sleep." She quietly murmured again, trying to shake off the awkwardness.
Haruhi left the room, once she was outside and had closed the door behind her she stood there unsure for a moment before forcing out her usual exuberance. "All right! Let's go! Maybe I can go check out the unicorns a bit..." she said loudly, mostly to herself but there was no doubt that Kyon would be able to hear this anyway.
