[Well it was nice that the storm passed and Terry could finally get away from that creepy old building -- he was waiting for the cheap skeletons and Halloween theatrics to pop out at any second -- but he's been too exhausted to go back and explore what's beyond the fog. I'm going to assume you mean alkaline batteries. Those were invented in the 1800s. Lithium batteries were invented in the...1970s.
