Author Notes: So short, it's not even funny. This was originally supposed to be thirty prompts with a sentence for each, but I've gone off track. Thought I'd just share these until I finish the others. This hasn't been Britpicked or beta'd. I apologize for any glaring Americanness.
Love - Owen is back from the dead. Owen is back from the dead and she told him she loved him when she thought he was going to die. And by the intense stare he is leveling at her right this second, she's pretty sure he heard her declaration. While she is ecstatically happy that the man she loves is alive, Toshiko can't help but think she is thoroughly, well, fucked.
Mouth - He’ll shag anything gorgeous enough. Has he shagged you, Tosh? She can’t tell if it’s honest, flattering curiosity or maliciousness (perhaps jealousy) that drives him to ask that question. Her mouth curves into a Mona Lisa smile and she says, “Wouldn’t you like to know.”
Darkness - There is a different kind of darkness in his eyes now. Not the kind that working for Torchwood gives you, but an older, primal darkness. To be honest, she’s a little bit frightened when she’s alone in a room with him. She knows it’s still Owen in there, but now she wonders if the eyes looking back at her can see all of her secrets.
Summer - It's the summer after his "resurrection" when Owen finally asks Toshiko on a date. She is understandably surprised (because really, when has Owen ever showed interest in her?) but responds with her beautifully nervous half-smile and a hesitant nod. He is almost pathetically earnest in his pursuit of her and attempts to be a perfect gentleman. Owen ultimately fails at this worthy endeavor, but that's okay, because Tosh loves him just the way he is; a jackass that's a good person deep down (deep, deep, deep down).
