Which character or characters did you identify with in the poem? Explain your answer in detail.
In the poem, I identified with Lucifer the most. One thing that we both have in common is we both have nicknames that others can call us. My nickname is Bob, which is short for Robert. Lucifer's nickname is Satan. These nicknames come in handy for those looking to save time on pronouncing syllables as each nickname will save a person from speaking an extra syllable.
Also, we both have a problem talking with food in our mouth. Somebody should have
taught us how to properly chew our food as we are constantly attempting to speak while chewing. However, one big difference between the two of us is that Lucifer loves to chew people, mainly traitors such as Judas, Brutus, and Cassius. Even though I have an open mind, I doubt I would enjoy the taste of human flesh. I believe I would like to eat pizza more than people because I assume it is less salty than flesh.
The most important thing we have in common with each other is that we are just a
couple guys trying to get through life, but for some reason you can't swim when you're frozen in a river waist high. Also, you aren't allowed to swim after you just ate because of the possibility of cramps.
