Two Tumblr Entries (Crossover Post)
Benign Week!!!
Or so I’d like to think, because we actually have a load of homework to do.
Monday: Block 3 Sem Starter & Lambanog Night!
Tuesday & Wednesday: Sick visits and dinner with sisses :)
Thursday: Mentoring and Harry Potter on IMAX with Zie and Hannie (watching it for the second time)!

Last Saturday,
We had a medical mission. This one felt different because I had just completed LU IV, and an OS 217 (Systemics) which meant that I was more confident in making a diagnosis. I noticed that my voice quivered less, and I actually felt good knowing that even though I made some mistakes in prescribing and some aspects history taking and management, I knew that I had improved my clinical skill somehow. It was very fulfilling knowing that I am making an impact in these people’s lives.
Here I am with Lola Encarnacion. We only met for about 15 minutes, but she has left a mark on me forever.
Today we learned about good prescribing and rational drug use. I normally sleep through my lectures (eep) but I made an effort to sit through this morning. I knew that out of all the lectures that I have ever attended, for me, this morning was one of the most important. It’s a step further from what I used to know.
I’m excited for my next Medical Mission :) (Must buy MIMS!)
