I love it~ Anyways, there will be introduction to more original characters in the fic just to go along with various things. Their roles might be important or not, but they'll just be there. Anyways, let me shut up and enjoy the chapter!
The leaves rustled lightly in the direction of the wind and the moon slowly crept up into the night sky igniting Jessica’s senses as she pressed the raven haired girl in her arms impossibly closer to her. She had managed to get her to forget the scene she had witness earlier and now the two of them had been enjoying the beautiful view of the setting sun. Jessica was feeling entirely confident at the moment so she moved her lips to Tiffany’s right ear and whispered, “There’s something I need to tell you.”
Tiffany smiled as she heard the words and turned around in her girlfriend’s arms and wrapped her own around Jessica’s neck. She smiled as she looked right into her eyes expectantly. “What do you want to tell me?” She secretly was hoping that whatever Jessica had to tell her would make this romantic evening even more special.
“It’s something about-” Jessica stopped talking when she heard her girlfriend’s mobile phone ring. She couldn’t believe that her moment had been interrupted.
“Sorry Jessi, it’s my dad, I need to answer.” Tiffany apologized as she looked at who was calling and Jessica simply nodded. She stood there and watched as Tiffany’s facial expression changed from curiosity to anxiousness. She seemed worried all of the sudden and abruptly finished the call.
“What happened Tiffany?” Jessica asked her as she placed her hands on the other girl’s shoulders.
“My mom suddenly collapsed and dad is currently in the hospital awaiting a word from the doctor. Jessi! I need to go! I need to know what’s happening!” Tiffany desperately shouted out; slight tears starting to build up in her eyes. She then quickly started walking the way she remembered they had come and Jessica chased after her.
“Wait up! I’ll go with you.” Jessica wrapped her arm around her girlfriend’s shoulders and began to lead her out of the forest towards Tiffany’s car.
It seemed impossible to Hyoyeon to be able to unlock her lips from Sunny’s to catch a breath of air from how hungrily the shorter girl was kissing her. This vampire seemed to be a little too curious and naughty for the werewolf but finally managing to sit back up from the branch she was lying on, Hyoyeon pushed Sunny away and took in a large breath of air. In protest, Sunny tried to lock their lips together again but Hyoyeon pushed her back again.
“Hyo! What’s wrong?” Sunny cutely pouted as she kept trying to kiss Hyoyeon.
“I need to breathe!” Hyoyeon shouted out and took in more air. Sunny giggled and took in a breath of air as well and then released it against Hyoyeon’s neck. The scent of the blood pulsing up her neck caused Sunny’s senses to go wild and she felt herself leaning in closer to the werewolf’s neck. Feeling the vampire’s breath on her neck, Hyoyeon quickly moved away.
“Whoa…what are you doing?” She asked Sunny as she covered her neck with her hands.
“I’m sorry; I just found the scent enticing.” Sunny apologized and grabbed one of Hyoyeon’s hands that was covering her neck.
“Yeah, well I’m not dinner. You don’t see me trying to eat you.” Hyoyeon quickly responded and Sunny grinned.
“You could eat me if you wanted to~” She then winked and smiled seductively at the werewolf causing her to blush.
“Aish, Sunny, is that the only thing on your mind right now?” Hyoyeon asked her and Sunny nodded. “I’m curious Hyo~”
Hyoyeon rolled her eyes and Sunny leaned in to kiss her again. The werewolf responded to the kiss and slowly leaned towards the vampire causing her to fall back onto her back and lie on the tree branch. She then started to trail her kisses down the shorter girl’s neck eliciting a slight moan from Sunny. The vampire began to breathe heavily, her chest rising up as high as it could to entice Hyoyeon to go lower.
“Hyo…make me yours…please.” Sunny heavily panted and Hyoyeon stopped. She stopped not just because of her words but because she could smell the arousal that was developing on the girl underneath her. She wanted to tease Sunny but she wasn’t ready to go all the way yet. Getting off the shorter girl, Hyoyeon jumped off the branch and landed perfectly on her two feet on the ground.
Sunny sighed once she felt Hyoyeon stop and jump off the branch. She sat up and looked down to see Hyoyeon extending her arms out to her so she would jump down too. She smiled and let herself fall and land on the werewolf’s arms. Hyoyeon gently put her down after catching her and then quickly took a hold of Sunny’s left hand as they began to walk deeper into the forest.
“Sunny, I don’t know what it is about you that drives me crazy. When I’m with you, I feel really happy. I’ve never felt like this before. Not matter how many girls I took out on dates, no one has made me feel the way you do.” Hyoyeon smiled as she honestly told Sunny how she felt. Sunny smiled upon hearing Hyoyeon’s words and wrapped her free arm around Hyoyeon’s arm and rested her head on the taller girl’s shoulder.
“I guess I should just say it,” Hyoyeon continued and Sunny looked up expectantly at her. “I love you.”
Sunny grinned happily and stopped walking to wrap her arms around Hyoyeon’s neck. “Hyo~” She cutely said as she looked at the werewolf who felt slightly embarrassed after her confession. She then giggled and gave her a quick peck on the lips before letting her know how she felt too. “I feel the same way. When you walked into the club that night, and I saw you heading towards the bar, I felt my skip a beat. I was hoping you would notice me and when you did…” Sunny giggled slightly as she blushed, “it felt like a stake had pierced my heart.”
“Wouldn’t that have killed you then?” Hyoyeon grinned and Sunny laughed, “No, it just made me fall in love with you. I love you too Hyo. I don’t care if you’re a werewolf; I want to be with you forever.”
They kissed passionately for a moment before they continued walking deeper into the woods until they had to separate. Hyoyeon wanted to walk Sunny back home but she knew that the vampire lands were more patrolled by vampires than the werewolf lands. Her kind didn’t really mind that anyone entered their lands as long as they never tried to break into the compound. It was the main reason why Sunny would always meet Hyoyeon in werewolf lands. As they kissed one last time before saying goodbye, they both failed to sense the vampire who overlooked at their interaction.
Laughter and joy filled the werewolf compound as everyone had gathered in the center of the village to drink, eat, and have a good time interacting. Werewolves tended to be close knit to their own kind whether they were blood related or not and in this particular werewolf compound, everyone tended to be even closer. It was known as the Royal Village because it was the home of the Werewolf Queen.
The Queen, who was standing on top of one of the many tables that had been placed for the night, lifted her wine cup high above her and then drank to one of the many toast that had been made that night not just by her but by the other werewolves as well. As everyone laughed and enjoyed themselves, Hyoyeon entered the compound and headed towards her house, but when she walked into the middle of the compound, everyone suddenly stopped and turned their gazes towards her. Everyone couldn’t believe the scent that was coming off her. It was too strong to not avoid.
Hyori, Queen of the Werewolves, quickly got off the table she was standing on and walked towards Hyoyeon who stood still as all the gazes were on her at the moment. Hyori quickly grabbed Hyoyeon’s chin and turned her to face her as she sniffed her to try and understand why Hyoyeon smelled the way she did.
“You’re reeking of vampire. Explain yourself.” Hyori motioned as she let go of the shorter girl’s chin and studied her.
“I…” Hyoyeon wasn’t sure if she should say the truth or lie. She was usually honest, but right now Sunny’s safety was on her mind.
“You what?” Kahi quickly asked growing impatient. She couldn’t stand the scent coming off the younger werewolf and Hyori simply raised an eyebrow as her eyes darted towards her champion.
“I was with a vampire.” Hyoyeon finally responded. She wasn’t lying, but then again she wasn’t being specific.
“You don’t say…” Hyori let out a laugh. “I told you to explain yourself and I meant it to be clearly but by the way you look and the particular scent that she left on you, I can clearly tell she’s your lover.”
Hyoyeon was surprised by how well the Queen was able to read her. Not only by the scent Sunny left on her but by the way she physically looked. Hyoyeon wasn’t sure if everyone was able to tell this by looking at her but by the sudden gasps from the crowd, it was obvious that they couldn’t.
“You’re right.” She responded and looked at the ground. More gasps could be heard from the crowd.
“You insolent brat! How dare you do such a disgusting thing?” Kahi yelled out as she slammed her fist on the table and ran towards to Hyoyeon to punch her, but Hyori quickly stopped her by blocking her path with her foreman.
“Kahi stay down!” Hyori quickly yelled at her and the taller woman gritted her teeth and sat back down. Everyone looked at her before shifting their gazes back to Hyoyeon.
“So tell me Hyoyeon,” the Queen smirked, “tell me about your lover. Her name, where you met her, who is she exactly. Tell me everything.”
Hyoyeon knew that she could not keep anything from their Queen, so she proceeded to tell everything to her in front of the crowd. They were all like her family anyways, they would have eventually found out even if she had told Hyori everything in private. She told her everything, how they met, where and when, how they had been courting each other for a month and finally she told her Sunny’s name.
Hyori smiled as she listened to the younger wolf and turned to face one of the werewolves sitting on the table across from them. “Seohyun, tell me, who is this Sunny.”
Seohyun nodded and reached for a thick notebook she kept in her satchel and began skimming through it. Seohyun was not only the lead doctor in the compound; she was also a scientist, engineer and book keeper. If you wanted to know something about anything, she was the person to ask. As she skimmed through it, she quickly stopped on a page. “Sooman…twentieth Vampire King…children…one, future heir, Princess Soonkyu otherwise known as Sunny. There is no one else by this name currently in their ranks for it’s illegal by vampire law to name any of their offspring with the same name that someone in the vampire royal family has.”
“Vampire Princess…” Hyori grinned with a slight sparkle in her eyes and everyone else, even Hyoyeon was shocked by the information that had been revealed. Sunny had never mentioned her status to her.
Unlike the close knit werewolves, vampires lived in their own lands but they were not as close. They lived more spaced out than the werewolves and relationships with each other were not as developed unless they were blood related. Everyone did follow the King’s words though, for he was their leader. Sunny appreciated this fact about her kind because it made it easier for her to make it home without having anyone smell the scent that lingered on her body from Hyoyeon.
She happily skipped towards her room as she entered the castle like home she lived in. Before she made it to her room she was surprised by the one vampire everyone found difficulty sensing. “You seem rather happy tonight.” The voice said as its owner appeared from the shadows.
Sunny jumped slightly at the sound of the voice and turned to look at her friend. “Jungah….don’t scare me like that ever again. You really love appearing out of nowhere don‘t you.”
“I’m sorry.” The older vampire apologized and smiled at the younger one. “I could smell your girlfriend’s scent on you a mile away. Anything special happen that you might want to tell me about?”
Sunny smiled and nodded her head as she opened the door to her room and the two of them quickly stepped inside before Sunny closed the door. “Hyoyeon told me she loves me! She said it Jungah~ She said ‘I love you.’” She twirled as she told the older woman and stopped at the edge of her bed before letting herself plop down on it.
Jungah smiled as she took a seat on Sunny’s bed and looked down at the young girl. Seeing her so freely squeal on her bed as she thought about her lover made the older woman feel slightly envious. Despite being much older and experienced, she had never felt the way that Sunny was feeling right now about someone. “And what did you tell her?” She asked the younger vampire.
“That I love her as well. I never knew being in love could make you feel so good. Ah~ Hyoyeon…” Sunny grinned and squealed again against the pillow she had grabbed and was currently hugging.
“She’s your first love too so I guess it’s even more special. You didn’t have sex with her yet did you? Remember what I told you about werewolves.” She reminded the younger vampire and Sunny sat up and looked at her friend.
“I didn’t…even though I wanted to.” She giggled and then stopped as she asked her friend something. “Jungah…did you feel all giddy like I do with your first love?”
“Um…” Jungah bit her lip as she looked back at Sunny and then shook her head. “I’ve never been in love Sunny…”
“What?! No way! You’re such a confident good looking woman. There’s no way you’ve never been in love!” Sunny didn’t believe her one bit.
“I’m serious! I’ve had lovers…but I never really…loved any of them.” The older vampire emphasized and Sunny still didn’t believe her. She continued to press Jungah to tell her but the older woman insisted that she had never been in love.
The King of the vampires sat in his chamber with several of the councilmen laughing, drinking, and enjoying the entertainment being provided to them by a traveling crew of dancers, musicians, and humans with various other talents and skills that they had hired to later feast on. While most vampires didn’t bother to kill humans anymore in order to feed, the King had made a tradition of hiring crews like this every once in a while only to feed on them later.
As he and the other men enjoyed the entertainment being provided by their future meal, the vampire who had spotted Sunny with Hyoyeon entered his chamber and apologized to the King for interrupting him. “Sire, it’s important that I relate this news about the Princess to you.”
The King excused himself from the room and walked outside the chamber closing the door behind him and looked at the other vampire directly. “Hanryul, this better be worth my time. You know I hate being interrupted.”
“I know Sire, I know, but earlier I spotted the Princess with her lover.” He quickly told him.
“Lover? Who is her lover?” The King asked feeling quite intrigued about what this messenger had to say.
“The important thing is not who it is, but what they are.” Hanryul told him and the King snapped at him. “What are they?! Speak!”
“The Princess’s lover is a werewolf…”
