[She nods, mumbling an "excuse me" in order to get a jewelry box from her vanity table. Alice can see Shiki carefully folding the letter so that it would fit inside the box.]

[After putting it in, Shiki takes out a necklace that Riku gave her not too long ago. With a sigh, she puts it back in and shuts the white box closed. She still had the crown necklace around her neck, her fingers unconsciously playing with the charm.]

He left this behind too... The first time it happened.

*a slight sigh, she looks at Shiki with sympathy.* Guys can be so selfish sometimes.

[And that makes her chuckle.]

[Her fingers touch the crown charm again. She realizes that she found this but not the dream catcher necklace she gave him not too long ago. A small but sad smile appears on her face.]

I'm happy he got to go home but, I still want him to remember me.

[Shiki still loves Riku up until now. She had never felt this strongly for someone before and it's overwhelming. As much as she wants him to come back to her, there's a chance that the next time he shows up, he doesn't remember his time here or with her. The thought just made her sad all over again.]

This might sound cheesy, but ... I think real love can transcend anything. Lifetimes, worlds, memories - my parents were like that.
