I really want to make another feature film right away. I'm developing/writing a few scripts. I want to have one ready to shoot by January/February. But I also have no money, so that's...a minor set-back. I had the first full spotting session with Herman Witkam, the composer and sound designer for my current project, Carte Blanche. Lasted a good two and a half hours, We're going to try and have it all done in two weeks, in time for the Slamdance Film Festival Deadline. I'm going to send it to International Film Festival Rotterdam (Netherlands) which is a pretty prestigious alternative film festival. The deadline is two days after the Slamdance deadline, and they don't ask for a submission fee. Slamdance, on the other hand, is gonna cost me $100 plus shipping and handling. $100 I don't get back if the film is rejected.
