Lately I've been helping Jake out with some movie of his. But he's a horrible director. It's a 4 page script that's taking days to film. I've filmed 30 minute long films in a single night. He's makign everything a big deal, acting like it's a big productiona nd that we're on a deadline, but it's just a short film being made for fun. He's freaking out and isn't open to anyone's suggestions, yet he doubts his own material. I hope he doesn't act like this when we film Seeing Red.

Last week Jake talked to his friend Miguel Luna, who is also a filmmaker. I basically said I'd help the guy on his movie in december. We found out his friend owns the very camera we wanted to shoot out feature with, and that he was going to use it. But Jake made the mistake of making Miguel Luna's role in the making of this film extremely epic. He made us sound desperate, and that we needed his money and actors and all that, when we don't. I finally talked to Miguel Luna myself today, and told him we basically just wanted to borrow that camera. I said I'd help him out on his film in exchange for the use of that camera. He agreed and said he'd talk to his friend Mike who owns the camera. Even if this doesn't work out, I'm discovering new ways to get great results from my own camera.
