Index post and a hello!

Hello and welcome to my personal journal! :)

If you're stopping by here, you probably are actually looking for HetaCast, or the Fandomly Comm, or the Fan Event, or quite possibly Vice Cap, Panda, or Shiny (as I have been mistaken for all of them at one point in time or another).

If you're actually on here to find out more about me... then what the heck? :'D
But whatever, if you're actually interested than I guess I can talk about myself. It's something I kinda love to do anyway so yeah no skin off my back :'D

The first thing you really have to know is that I've been a lurker online for over six years. I've been into various fandoms for nearly that long, but never contributed to any fandoms until now, kept to myself and spent my days reading fanfiction. Then, on December 25th 2011, my life changed forever. On a whim, I decided to participate a bit in the Christmas Bloodbath Event (A Hetalia fandom thing), and immediately found myself surrounded by, and helping build up, a family. Not just internet friends; a family. The circumstances were just right and I wound up not just delurking but delurking permanently, bringing a few friends with me, and generally expressing myself more than I ever thought possible.

Within the span of just a few months, I began to be involved in things. Before that time, my life hadn't really handed me the opportunity to organise things, but now that I was in a place where creative ideas ran wild and where support and friendship and teamwork was the regular way of life, new circumstances opened themselves up. In almost no time at all, I became a host and co-organiser for a podcast, a maintainer on a fairly well-populated community, and a contributor, co-organiser, and general admin of a Hetalia fan event.

In other words, I can get a bit stressed every so often, so please give me a little bit of your patience sometimes if you'd be so kind. :'D

I'm asexual and genderqueer; my preferred pronouns are they and their, but I'm used to being called "she/her" so if you'd prefer to use those, I'm okay with that. Using "he/him" would kinda make me delighted too because it's far and in between that I'm referred to like that.

If you have any questions about anything I do, if you would just like to say hi, or if you'd even like to vent to someone, please comment on this post or PM me! I keep my inbox available to everyone who needs to talk. Go ahead and rant to me, ask for emotional support or assistance with something, inquire if you can help with anything, or just say random stuff because you're bored and would like to talk - I'm up for anything you can throw at me.

This post will eventually be cut slightly smaller, and cleaned up a bit. Mostly after I've posted more entries that need to be indexed up here. For right now, the only thing that really needs to be indexed is the BLOODBATH POEM, which I started but never plan to work on any more.

Also, the function of this journal is less of a personal diary, and more of a place to store things - such as fanworks I make, fanfic recs, or even just things that I can't host anywhere else.
