Video 05 [Accidental] || The Twinkling Stars Vanished
[The video opens to the workshop in Shiki's apartment. Shiki can be seen sewing what looks like a winter hat, with her brows furrowed in deep concentration and her tongue poking out of her mouth. There was a pile of felt and fleece at one end of the desk and then a pile of finished hats at the other end which resemble the one she's currently wearing on her head.
In the background, the faint sounds of guitar music can be heard with Shiki humming along with the tune occasionally, still transfixed at her current project for the store. If the viewer looks closely at Shiki's face, one would not only notice the bags under her eyes, but that her eyes themselves look a little red and puffy, something that could only happen if she has cried recently. Around her neck, the crown necklace that Riku left behind was now joined by a pair of purple headphones. It wasn't connected to anything. Shiki was just wearing it around her neck for some reason.
A new contender suddenly appears on the screen! It was Kotone, Neku's cat, who decided to jump on Shiki's desk to see what she was doing. She gives a meow, trotting over to the redhead, nuzzling her head on the hand that was holding on to the fabric she was sewing.]
What the... [Shiki looks up, giving the cat a half smile while idly scritching the feline under the chin. The cat purrs rather audibly.] Kotone, you... I've got a lot of work to do.
[Kotone won't have any of that. She mews again, nuzzling the girl's hand once more; determined to make Shiki play with her.]
[Shiki gives a chuckle, putting down the fabric and the needle on the table in order to bring Kotone to her lap to give her more scritches.]
Geez, you're just as stubborn as he was...
