So those of you who read don't think I'm dead
Well, I turned 21 this weekend. If you were wondering, no alcohol was involved (yes, I'm lame ;) ). Radek also visited from Chicago, which made it much more fun. We didn't really do that much, just went to lunch at the I-fair (Very much worth the lines and $3 entry fee!), hung out, and went out to dinner

As for any useful advice to your problem, I'm not much of a use. I've not been able to use candles for anything since I've arrived at home. At first it bothered me, but it didn't take long for me to realize that the candles where there seemingly exclusively for my benefit, the elemental spirits, and the gods themselves don't need the assistance of a candle to find you. It's more of a problem if you let yourself get hung up on the fact that you don't have cangles rather than not actually having any.
In my opinion anyway, take it or leave it.
