(no subject)
Today was the last day of term. Yup. That's it. Finished first year, except for a few exams.
And the best way to celebrate the occasion?
It was great though, there were bands playing all day in the pit, including Jane's brother's friend's band, whose single we bought yesterday. They're fairly decent! Then Dan, our SU president for the last year, and Stephen, philsoc auditor, had an arm wrestle for charity. And (very surprisingly) Dan won so Steve had to shave his hair and his massive beard off. <3 Dan.
So, we hung around there for a while and then went over to the grass pitches where Olwen taught us to throw a frisbee ultimately. So I can now throw it out-in, instead of in-out which makes sense in my head, but not in writing.
Marguerite and I left around 5 and got drinks in Idle Wild and sat in the sun, which was nice. And then I came home and lay in the sun some more, cleaned my fish tank and watched new Grey's. At this point the day went to shit a little... Scrubs made me cry, I noticed the sunburn and my phone was on silent so I missed the call from Rachel. She's at Bryan Adams and remembered that I love 'Summer of '69' so she tried to call me but i didn't notice.
However, the sun is still shining (not here, cos it's dark here, but somewhere...) and I'm going to the beach tomorrow and Rachel just called me for 'Heaven'. Yay, summer!!
