ughhh
for some reason this past week has been stressful. more stressful than the end of 2nd and 3rd years where we had exams or practicals every single week for like 12-15 straight weeks. western liscencing exams are next weekend and since spring break starts this weekend, we won't be in school next week. meaning i won't have a chance to screen for patients. luckily i got one of my class 2s from chubby(i mean lisha) and one of my own patients has perio.
besides the stress of looking for patients, i decided it would be great to start off the week by depriving myself of sleep. i read memoirs of a geisha in two and a half days(sunday, monday and tuesday nite). that has led me to become an exhausted wreck at the end of each day. what sucks is after i shower, i'm wide awake again. and of course i'm making my life easier by starting another book, goodnight nobody by jennifer weiner(good in bed, in her shoes). yes it's chick lit, but it's fun to read=). and i need that right now.
one of my patients for my partial i almost screwed up(hopefully i can still make a partial for her). the other patient that i got from a junior, i started and faculty decided to start the case over(which i guess isn't a bad thing). tomorrow we're supposed to have a westerns review thing, but cuz they announced the review late, i already booked my day tomorrow w/ patients so i can't attend the review(which i think would be helpful). i'm rambling and should be going over the criteria for the perio patient. ughhh
luckily i got an assistant today so that's one less thing to worry about. tomorrows another long day. guess i better go over the perio criteria again.
