Wow....
Wow I certianly haven't updated this in a while. I certianly do hope no one was following it XD not that I think anyone would have bothered to follow it, it wasn't very interesting, merely a place for me to ramble on and on and on... and the rants weren't even that long. I mean I've done some much longer ones elsewhere. Ah well
hmm.... to do an update of everything that's happened since my last posts or not... Well why the hell not!
Horses:
As far as the horses go, well to be honest I'm not sure exactly where I was horse wise in 2006 but atm I'm doing stalls for Ann (she broke her wrist) and getting paid ^_^ I hadn't seen Pepper in at least a year but I'm going to get to ride him this Wednesday ^_^ I hope he remembers me!
I went to a horse show on Sunday and made a new friend ^_^ She rides Cassy who is just an awesome mare. True she needs some work but hey nobody's perfect! She's a gorgeous Standardbred Draft cross and doesn't act all that marish.
Job:
Yep that's right I got a job. Two technically. My Aunt is paying me to watch my cousins. It's a very nice job. Well except for the fact that Sydney refuses to be potty trained! UGH! She is SOOOOO disgusting. I have to remind her every hour or so to try to go potty or she'll just go in her pants. And when I remind her about it she fights me! Ah well it's still worth the money to be able to sit around on my computer most of the day XD
Relationships:
Big news in the relationship department. My first relationship was towards the end of senior year with a total drama queen. Yep that's right a girl. She was a huge mistake. I dumped her after our second week. I'm convinced I only liked the idea of her liking me and I didn't really like her. My second relationship is turning out to be much better because we're much more compatible I think. ^_^ He's a great guy and I'm really enjoying being with him ^_^ This is SO much different from my first relationship and in a good way. We've gone out on three dates so far (every Friday since we both have off ^_^) and this week we're going to a concert. Won't be JUST the two of us as I'm bringing Mouse along too but it'll still be nice and hopefully I won't get hit on by like 50 year old man again >_< (I'll go into that farther down) So yeah my love life is pretty good at the moment.
Music Adventures:
I've been going to as many Irish concerts as I can. This past July I went to the Celtic Fling for the third time. I've been following a band called Coyote Run and been to quite a few of their concerts. One of the members, Doug, knows me by sight and he always gives me a hug or two ^_^ Another member, the bassist, Micheal, actually knows me by name. He's the one who I at least thought was hitting on me at the last concert I went to. I mean he kissed me on the head after all (and it wouldn't have been just a kiss on the head if I hadn't taken evasive action) >_< So yeah I'm a Doug fangirl but Micheal's my stalker XD Anyway I'm off to another Coyote Run concert this Friday! Can't wait!!
School:
Well I graduated and I'm going to the West Chester University of Pennsylvania to major in Latin. I even got accepted into the Honors College there which I am quite excited about! Should be LOTS of fun ^_^ I'll be staying on the third floor of Killinger Hall and I move in Aug 22nd. I have a great roommate who I met at Orientation. We totally just clicked. Funniest part was that for the overnight during Orientation we were assigned to room together XD I was late and so I didn't know who my roommate was until later. It must have been fate that we connected and then on top of that were already assigned to room together!
Micronationalism:
Ok so pretty recently my boyfriend got me into this thing called Micronationalism. I joined Shireroth which is apparently one of the bigger micronations. I also grabbed Mouse and beks to join with me and we joined Yardistan at the insistance of Aidan. He then made me countess of Eastern Absentia. Also Corey (my boyfriend) and I are getting married on there. Well I suppose technically most of the ceremony has already been finished. So yeah ^_^ I haven't gotten really into any of the politics yet and I don't know if I ever will but it's kinda fun
TV/Movies:
So my recent TV addictions are Amazing Race, Project Runway, Bones, and Lost. Online I've become a fan of Torchwood, Doctor Horrible's Sing Along Blog and Firefly! New movie favorites include Serenity and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
My Current State of Being:
Physically:
Well my back and shoulders are really badly sunburnt. They hurt pretty bad. They're getting better though so hopefully they'll be all better by Friday for the concert. My ankle's been hurting me a bit but I hope that fixes itself by Friday too 'cause I wanna dance!
Mentally:
I'm a little tired from being burnt and quite a bit bored but otherwise happy and peaceful. I don't feel too understimulated but I'm certainly not at the overstimulation I'd like to be (aka HYPERNESS) I'm excited for Friday and wishing it came sooner and more often.
My Life:
My life's good right now. I'm quite happy with it. Things could be better but I'm not complaining. I've got a bunch of things going right for me for once and that just makes me happy. I must have done something right and either God or Karma or both are rewarding me ^_^
Anyway I'll end this super long blog now. It's taken me almost 24 hours to finish it XD Enjoy!
