(no subject)
So ya. Italy was awesome. I didnt want to leave, there was so much I still wanted to do. Oh well, guess that just means Ill have to go back.
The train to Vienna felt very long. Very very long. We met a cool Australian on the train so that was cool. He informed us that apparantly in Greece you cant flush toilet paper. Ewww.
Vienna was not so cool. We got there super late and couldnt figure out how the heck to get to our hostel and so we just took a cab. It wasnt too expensive. I thought Vienna would be super scenic and all storybook like but its totally not. Complete opposite.
The next morning we took a bus to Prague since Czech wasnt included in our Eurail pass. The bus wasnt too bad. After arriving we even found our hostel quite easily, its between a police station and a gay bar. Lol.
For dinner we had Chinese. How cool are we.
We were gonna go out later but decided to take a nap. Ya, turns out we were quite exhausted cause we slept straight on through till morning.
Today was lovely, we were pretty groggy all day, but still lovely. Prague looks like a scene out of Pinnochio. We walked all through The Little Quarter, Prague Castle and went into St. Nicholas' Cathedral.
For dinner we had authentic Czech potato pancakes. Mmmm. We finally figured out how to convert kronos to dollars and it turns out that food is insanely cheap here. We will be taking full advantage of that.
This evening I got my caricature (sp?) done. It looks like me, its great. After that we went to a violin concert at St Salvator's Cathedral. It was lovely, it had Bach's Air and Vivaldi's Four Seasons. We are oh so cultured.
Tomorrow I believe we're off to The Jewish Quarter, New Town and Old Town.
