You certainly know how to write a review that makes me want to pick up my pen and write the rest of the story immediately! I was going to say reading it was completely day-making but it's been a lot longer than that. :D

It took me ages to get to grips with what I wanted to say about their relationship now, when I've said so much previously. What the bio did was make me look beyond the werewolf issue to them as a couple; two people who loved each other deeply but had barely even begun to express it. For Remus, having never been in love, it must have been like putting a lighted match to emotions he's been forced to suppress for so long. It's no wonder the cracks were showing in DH, and that the pressure cooker finally blew. What it says about Tonks in that she understands the risks and takes them on anyway. I'm enjoying writing the passionate man coming to the surface, although not finding it easy!

I'm SO pleased that you highlighted the line about the fragility of life, and the realization that when you love the most is when you fear the most. (Yes, I did think about many of the things we've touched on. The ticking clock won't be featuring.;)) There is this background of change and fear and urgency going on for both of them, and particularly for Remus, who has lost so many people. But then it is no less a fear for her.

As for the hair cut; well, I wanted Tonks's magic to return at a time when she found peace within herself, and I very much didn't want it to be for corny, romantic reasons. More of a quiet, simple moment when she's happy. I expect everyone is wondering why wizards don't use magic to cut their hair, and are simply too polite to say it, but I have put a line in the next one to explain that magic cuts hair so precisely that you end up with a ruler-edged style. And hope everyone swallows this, lol.

Writing this has also made me realize - all over again - how utterly tragic Remus's life was. And determined to give them both some happiness here at least.

Thank you again for such lovely, thoughtful and generous comments. You always see what I hope is in there, and then take it even further. It's wonderful to have such feedback, especially as I'm sure it must have been somewhat odd picking these two up again after so long. THANK YOU. ♥
