Have posted a second fic to
redandthewolf, though I nearly didn't because the spell check packed up (something of a drawback when you're me), my back got very cranky at having far too long a day at the computer, and Word was having a fit as well in that it would only save the top half of the document and... Why do these things always happen late on, when you're completely knackered and patience is in fairly short supply? Anyway, all's well that's spelt well (I do hope;)), and it's very different to the first one. Different also in that one was great to write, and one wasn't, and I don't know if that comes across or not. If you fancy seeing if you can tell if this was the pleasure or the pain, the details are below.
Title:
Even MoreSummary: Lily Evans is sixteen and a half years old and her sensible head easily rules her heart. But she knows she's missing out on something vital... RL/LE sixth year; from Lily's POV.
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Mild swearing; sexual references.
Word Count: 6348
Author’s Note: Based around the prompt "Will you keep your fancy clothes on for me? Can you bear a little longer to wear that leash? My love, I swear by the air I breathe: Sooner or later, you'll bare your teeth." Monkey and Bear, by Joanna Newsom. I just couldn't resist those lyrics. Feedback is always appreciated. :)
And I'm planning on having a reading day. Along with that other 'R' word - reviewing, is it? Don't think I've ever said that line before. ;)
