Today's obscure vinyl/cd is:
"Forging Ahead" by Bad Manners.
Easily one of the silliest bands from the Ska Revival of the early 80s, (and that's saying a LOT), Bad Manners never fails to bring a smile to my face. This album features the incredibly catchy "My Girl Lollipop", (a remake of Millie Small's "My Boy Lollipop"), which featured a hilarious video back in the day. The album also contains "That'll Do Nicely", "Salad Bar", and a bunch of smile-makers guaranteed to make you dance.
As to the group, they're still around. I'm told they're a hoot live.
