Today's obscure/rare cd/vinyl is:
"Scatterlings" by Juluka.
Before South African musician Johnny Clegg was a solo artist, and before his other band, Savuka, there was simply "Juluka". This was the first of their two albums, and the best. While there is some of the outspoken politicism that Johnny Clegg has become noted for, it's surprisingly subtle here. I can't pick a favorite on this disc, since I love it so much. Every track is a winner. And you don't even have to speak Zulu!
Rare, and out of print, a number of the tracks can be had on collections, but it's worth finding.
