School and life have been keeping me busy, so UPDATE TIME. During reading week I wrote 4 essays, guhhhhh, I was so sick of school work by the end. I just got one essay I wrote back today, its a major confidence boost (booyeah, A). I'm hoping all my other essays are just as well received. I need to find out exactly what courses I'm missing so I can figure out my graduation status. I'm really hoping I can finish things up over the summer instead of another year.I booked a appointment with a academic adviser, today I was told she was not the right academic adviser and that I had to go home and book a new appointment with a different academic adviser. Now the Internet is telling me I'm not allowed to book an appointment with said adviser (wow what a great system York), so I'm waiting on a email back hoping I can get an appointment soon.
Don't you like how everything dumps at the same point of the year: school, taxes, summer jobs, apartment nonsense and a million other 'little' things. I'm currently trying to figure out a solution for the apartment since we will not be living in it over the summer, and don't want to pay rent for a place we aren't living in. We cant get out of our lease so need to find someone to sublet from us or start a new lease for the apartment. So if you know of anyone looking for a apartment from May-Aug send them my way.
I felt a little socially isolated for a while, I realized I was only interacting with Meg and Jeff for a while. So I've been welcoming the heavier weeks of hang outs, dancing and general interaction with friends. I felt like I didn't have a social life for a while, like I was living under a rock.
Now convention stuff! Wizard World is in two weeks and I'm defiantly pumped to go and hang out with people. I'm going to be wearing stuff for Heroes in Tights again on the Saturday, if everything goes according to plan I should be Dark Phoenix. I'm planning on wearing Donna Troy on the Sunday. Unsure of what to wear (if anything) on Friday, potentially Catwoman...not sure.
I'm really excited for Ad Astra this year, I was asked to be part of Beef Cake Cheese Cake to raise money for AIDS Committee of Toronto. I'm hoping with Alex's help I can get Red Sonja done in time for the event.
